Summer Wine Spoils

The stands of the Summer Wine Spoils, on the streets, squares and bridges of the Ljubljana Old Town, more than 90 exhibitors was present their wine and culinary food products. Locals and Tourists can try the different foods and wine from all regions of Slovenia. The wine-makers presenting their products  as well as the best restaurants. Ljubljana Wine Route was also spiced up by numerous folk musicians, singers and dancers, you just need to rent a glaas fo wine and enjoy the party. You can see some photos of the event.

World Oceans Day

The World Oceans Day 2014 theme is "Together we have the power to protect the ocean"

Two-thirds of the surface of the Earth is covered by oceans, which are a source of infinite resources: food, energy, water and mineral resources. 
The sea is very imprtant and helps to provide conditions that make life possible on the planet. 

We take tonnes of fish each year, salt and fresh water from Oceans, so because of this is up to us to care in a sustainable way and think that the ocean can live without us, but we cant live without oceans.

Cinema Festival Izola

Yesterday I visited a film project. The name of the festival is Kino Otok in Izola, a beautiful town at the seaside of Slovenia. This festival is awesome, you can watch international movies during whole day, some of them are for free and you can watch them in the main square or at the beach. It feels like in old days when the people went to street cinema.
It is also possible to see some photography expositions in the center of the city, to visit the market and enjoy the concerts.
The weather was really nice and I took my first dive in the sea.

EU Elections 2014

The European Parliament election of 2014 in Spain will be the held on 25 May 2014 to elect the 54-member delegation from Spain to the European Parliament.

International Ocean

This event was one of the most important festival for young poeple in Slovenia, and International Ocan was a part of it. Around 20 diferent countries was preparing typical food and drinks for share with the people. I was in the spanish stand and we were making a little bit of Mojo Picon and some games for the participants

Healthy week

Last week Zveza SKIS prepared a social and health affairs project named Healthy week. It was a four-day project, full of sport activities and good, healthy food. During the week young people, students and high school students were very interested into Body Combat (there was a workshop, where they trained it), Yoga Class, Healthy Breakfast (it happened in the restaurant in Rozna dolina, where all the students who live in student dorms were able to try a healthy but rich breakfast), Healthy Dinnner at Glazuta (where we also prepared food) and Vegan Lecture (where they also tasted the vegan food).
